Do you remember Colorado?
And how we woke up happier?
Beneath the bedsheets
You swore you loved me
Then we fell out
Oh, Rosalyn
You make me feel so small
I'd run away
To feel nothing at all
Rosalyn
You make me feel so small
I'd run away
To feel nothing at all
Rosalyn
Do you remember the night we drove home?
There were changes in the air
In the backseat
You swore you loved me
Now we don't speak
If you could see yourself the way I do
(The way I do)
Your reflection wouldn't get to you
(Wouldn't get to you)
Been following Somos for many years, feeling that they had an opus in them...well, here it is. Driving pop-punk sensibilities lend an upbeat tone in contrast to the grim lyrical proceedings, and they absolutely pull it off. Evocative music that's been on repeat for me all month long. RIP, Phil PaintedDogs
Bouncy, jangly power pop with a slash of acidic shadow, as the very best twee always has. From Boston, they met at band camp (not Bandcamp). Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 2, 2019
City Mouth are everything that I look for in a newer age alt/rock/pop band. The cleanliness and rhythmic integrity is all very nice, but the incredible songwriting is what brings them to the top. Allowing this to bring forth emotion is also key. Amazing from start to finish! negirvin
